The new DCX single "Don't break my heart" is coming out to stores in Finland this Wednesday 21.11.07! The song has already charted at Finnish Disco Chart at #16 on it's first week, being the highest new entry for the week!

The new DCX release is "Don't break my heart" and it is already available on Radio KLF compilation, released today! You can order this compilation from http://www.radioklf.fi and prelisten to it at our DCX player!

We are performing with DCX on next Friday at Club Mixei and Saturday at Nitetrain in Tampere at D-Fest festival! Other performers include Culture Beat, Pandora, Tina Cousins, Basic Element, Vinyl Shakerz, Sunblock, Chorale and Dacia! We have also been booked to play at NRJ in the park at Elysee Arena in Turku on 7th of September!

Finally it's time to finish some graphics stuff too :) Started on this work back in school in January 2005 and finished it now finally in August 2007. The work was once again drawn with mouse, but this time switching sometimes between a normal mouse and a trackball mouse. Software used was Paint Shop Pro 5 and Photoshop. Open the image here! DCX - KNOWING ME, KNOWING YOU From WWW.DCXMUSIC.COM : DCX has released the first true HD music video in Finland at 720p and 1080p formats, which is a cover version of "Knowing me, knowing you", approved by ABBA! Earlier bands have done their videos on film, but the end result has been printed for public in DVD resolution only. The video was shot not only in Finland, but also in Latvia on eastern Europe's biggest club La Rocca, Berlin Potzdam Platz, London city center, Montserrat and Barcelona city center. Parts of our Summertour have been the Summer Heat Tour and the Kalajoen Juhannus Pretour and we have had the joy to perform at different events aside artists like Akcent, Vinyl Shakerz, Natural Ex and such! I'm glad to announce a couple more bookings for DCX! We will play at Seurahuone in Kokkola on 8th of June in fame of Kalajoen Juhannus PRETOUR. 17th of June we are performing at Ferrari Challenge in Alastaro, a big motor sport event held by Radalle.com, aside bands like the German Groove Coverage, Swedish Natural Ex, and Finnish LOVEX, who are enjoying huge fame in Finland currently being one of the biggest local rock bands. I heard the event will have a unique Ferrari, which is the only piece of this specific model ever made ;) On 28th of July we'll be playing at a local club Mixei in Tampere, which will probably open the gig schedule for the end of the summer. 8th and 24th days' reservatios are to-be-announced. The single is currently signed to 13 countries : Finland (A1 Music) Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania (TMC Nordic) Singapore, Thailand, Malesia, Filippines (Music Street Pte Ltd / Warner) South Africa (DVE Music) Poland (Hit'n'Hot Music / EMI) We have been booked to play two gigs with Vinyl Shakerz (known from their hit tunes like "One night in Bangkok" on 1st of June in Las Vegas / Oulu and 2nd of June in Club Fontana / Vaasa. On 9th of June we'll be hitting Oulu again to play on the same stadium stage for the audience of 15,000-20,000 people with ie. A1 Music has booked the following bands for the Lippo Summer Party 2006 megaevent : AKCENT (Romania) DANI EVERMORE (Sweden) NATURAL EX (Sweden) DCX (Finland) REFLEXION (Finland) THE GIBSON BROTHERS (Germany) LAS KETCHUP (Spain) Lippo Summer Party at Oulu Baseball Stadium 9.-10.6.2006! Oulu's Lippo has held the casual summer opening concert already since 1998 and during the years there have been seen many top bands on the stage both from Finland and abroad. The stage has carried through with ie. Bryan Adams, Scorpions, Billy Idol, Eppu Normaali, Leningrad Cowboys and Mestarit Lavalla -artists, who begun their success story at the Lippo megaconcert. On Friday we'll be partying for good with the repertoire of international bands: we have AKCENT (Romania), DANI EVERMORE (Sweden), NATURAL EX (Sweden) and DCX (Finland), who are all reckognized from dance/disco charts throughout the world. Along these bands the stage will have the local rock-world shattering band REFLEXION, reckless partygroup BEATS AND STYLES and also EMMA-awarded PMMP. THE BEST TECHNO HITZ EVER VOL 2 DC-10 - Flying High has now finally got it's first official release thanks to Music Street Pte Ltd and Warner Music Singapore for releasing it on this compilation! The compilation comes double disced and the second disc features remixes of the songs on the first disc (Flying High comes with the -99 radio edit and original mix). This makes it my oldest released production being our only 90'ies track released and it's found it's righteous place on the release aside other bands like Corona, Melodie Mc, E-Type, Gala, Ice Mc, Solid Base, Dj Miko and alikes And this is no april fools prank

Promo version was already 4 weeks at number 1 on Finnish Disco Chart and gathered wide interest all over the world. Assembly - Box of music The world's greatest computer event to count Assembly releases a compilation, which along the greatest hacker hits also includes tunes by selected bands, who have been performing at the event in the past couple of years. The compilation includes our productions 'DCX - Flying High (Cid Inc remix)' and 'Quincy - X-Dance', but also A1 Music's two other releases 'Chorale - Lähdit Luotani (video mix)' and 'Acardipane vs. Balloon - Whoopie whoopie'. The first DCX live went all great despite some technical problems we faced in the very last minute The show was broadcasted live on HTV's digital channel (correction to the earlier news post) and also as online stream at www.assemblytv.net. The gig will be replayed on the broadcast several times during the on-going Assembly '05 event this weekend. Photos and videomaterial are to follow in the future, stay chooned!

A1 Music's latest production and also latest signing 'DCX - Flying High' opened it's first chart week at #35 on the official Finnish Disco Chart. Last week the latest licensing 'Phobos & Deimos - The key, the secret' debuted on the same chart at #23. A1 Music's next licensing 'Caba Kroll - Que sera mi vida' will be brought out within the next weeks! So I'm happy to announce the new project DCX, which at the moment is produced by me but is also backed by Ari Myllymäki and our new featuring singer Janette. The debut release "Flying High" is a remake of an old classic eurodance track formerly released under DC-10 project, and it's now totally remade in current mainstream dance format. The track has already been licensed in Finland and South Africa and it is coming in full promotion in Finland within next two weeks. The official single hits stores in August.

A1 MUSIC RELEASES CHORALE'S DEBUT ALBUM "UNIMAAILMA" "Finland's own Scooter" - Chorale releases their debut album "Unimaailma" on 9th of February. The previous single cuts from the album have already gained nice chart success on both single and disco charts. Also over 30,000 downloaded ringtones so far guarantee this record will make people dance throughout this spring! What makes this a bit more special for me, is that the album includes tracks "Univiidakko" and "Sade", which were mixed by me and Ari. Check out also the TV commercial of the album : DOWNLOAD : MPEG-1 (2.7MB) CHORALE ALBUM REVEAL PARTY The Chorale album reveal party will be held at Partyhouse Kiva, Tampere / Finland on the next saturday, 12th of February during 22-04. Chorale will have a gig around midnight and other performers of the night are me and Ari as Donnell & Douglas with a dj-set and also local deejay Dj Meke will be spinning throughout the evening.

Some invisible administrative options and bug fixes have been done concerning photo galleries and it's all now finally working 100% (of course, there can be bugs so let me know if you encounter some, and I'll call in the ex-terminator)

The old domain will be closed on 10.1. and this will probably cause the website to disappear for some time (will work at address www.sci.fi/~jolex for the time being). CHORALE - SADE A new single from A1 Music that was mixed by Ari and me. What's special about the single, is that it includes nice alternative remixes in trance, rock and ballad styles. The single is currently rising the official Finnish Single Chart at place #6! The single was already released on 25.10.04 but I seem to be lacking the time to get everything updated in time!
